  • How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? 

My product uses conventions by showing why pens are important for school. Many time students uses pencils for a test and can easily change their answer. With pens you cannot erase therefore no cheating. This helps ingage students more in class. If they know they cannot cheat they will pay for attention. And they will study harder therefore they already know the material ahead of time. This reprints issues in school by kids needed better writing utensils. Paper-mate has very good pens and works well. By showing this it influnces kids to buy better material.


2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text? 

 My product engages with audiences by showing good products to use for school. most of the time kids don’t take school importantly, when using the product kids could feel more enthusiastic about working. I also feel that this shows that with the right utensils work can be done better. this would be distributed as a real media do you to this is an every day occurrence in schools. Kids will come empty-handed or with pens/pencils that break easily. This shows a good product that works well and is effective


  • How did your production skills develop throughout this project? 

     My production skills developed very highly. This was my first time filming some thing like this, and I thought I did very well. At first it was difficult and I didn’t really know what I was doing, but then I started to get the hang of it. By asking around and watching tutorials I started to understand the process and figure out what I was doing. Filming was easy however editing was a little difficult for me to learn. But I still took my time and asked around and I ended up doing very well. I feel for the future I will be more prepared and understand this a lot more. This was a good experience and I’m very glad I got to learn how to do production in this way.


4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project? 

I was able to integrate technology software hardware and online in this project by keeping the components right. I made sure that I was online looking for tutorials on how to edit, using different types of technology to film and edit, I use my computer to edit my video and share it and I as well used a flash drive as a hardware so I could edit this video or add touches whatever I needed to. I felt these components were important to have in this project considering it’s a big part of media and when filming it is very important.

       To start off with editing I re-watched all my clips. Since I had a lot of re filmed scenes. I deleted the bloopers and the clips and the ones I didn't need. After this I used iMovie again. I used this last time and I really enjoyed using it. I put some scenes in first and cut out of whatever I didn't need. I then had to line up the music with the shots. This took some time to do because some of the scenes were longer than the music part was. The music video also has to be 1:15 seconds. So knowing this I put all the clips I wanted and saw how long it was all together. All together it was 1 minute and 35 seconds. So I had to cut out some things to make it shorter. I did this until the time was right and wasn't over or under. I also wanted to add different effects and slow motions shots. So I went to the scenes and added that over whatever scenes it would look good. When doing this I realized I wanted to move some shots around. So some new scenes don't match with...

 Common CAMS:  common camera angles in action films include the wide shot, over the shoulder shot, and close-ups. Some movements include tracking shots, tilts, and zoom in, and zoom outs. common sound includes dialogue, internal dialogue, and movie soundtracks. Common CLAMPS:  The costume for action movies typically include the suit or whatever the main character uses. Typically a superhero suit. The lighting is typically dim and dark for the action scenes and typical lighting for regular dialogue scenes.   the action includes fighting, running, car chases, and physical fighting. The make up typically is bruises and blood for when the characters are hurt, and the make up that matches the costume the characters are in. Props include personal props were the characters, and set props. and the setting typically is the city, outer space, and buildings.  Common CAMS:  The common camera angles used in romance film include high angles mid shots extreme long shots and close-ups. This helps set the scene and establish characters. The common movements include pan and tilt, tracking, and the zoom. common sounds include dialogue, movie soundtrack, internal dialogue, and narration. Common Clamps:  The common costumes include whatever fits the characters the best and their personality. The lighting typically is bright and takes place during the daytime and represents whatever mood the main character is feeling. The auction is typically the main character fighting for a job or the love interest losing someone.The make up is typically light a natural affect for all characters in the film. props include set props, personal props for the characters, and setting props. and the setting typically takes place in a bakery, house, hospital, or a park.
